Cathal Brugha Barracks

This year the historical Cathal Brugha Barracks, in Portabello/Rathmines area of Dublin, received a full turn-key project from McSweeney Sports Surfaces. We were very proud to be providing our service to such a landmark location!

The pitches, which are used by the soldiers and staff of the barracks, is also used by some local schools in the area such as Rathmines College and St. Louis Senior Primary School.

These pitches are now all-weather pitches and marked out for soccer, volleyball and tennis too.

We also had to include the creation of surround fencing and flood lighting to ensure the facilities could be used into the dark evenings. As a turn-key project, we handled all aspects of delivery and it is safe to say that the finished project is a delight for all who use it.
